This Event Host Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into on this [Date] by and between Dream Date (“Company”) and [Host Name] (“Host”).
In consideration of the promises and mutual covenants contained herein, the parties agree as follows:
1. Role of the Host
The Host agrees to organize, manage, and oversee live in-person events for Dream Date in accordance with the Company’s policies and guidelines.
2. Compensation
The Host shall receive 25% of the ticket sales for the event they host (“Commission”). Payment will be made within [2] business days after the event concludes and ticket sales have been reconciled.
3. Host Obligations
The Host agrees to:
1.Event Promotion: Actively promote the event using the materials and guidelines provided by Dream Date.
2.Professional Conduct: Conduct the event professionally and ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees.
3.Compliance with Policies: Adhere to all Company policies and any local laws or regulations applicable to the event.
4.Reporting: Provide event attendance reports and any additional feedback as requested by the Company within 48 hours after the event.
4. Cancellation or Failure to Attend
1.Forfeiture of Commission:
•If the Host cannot attend their scheduled event for any reason The forfeited Commission will be transferred to the new Host who takes over the event.
2.Timely Communication: The Host must notify the Company immediately upon discovering they are unable to attend the event, allowing sufficient time for the Company to find a replacement.
5. Non-Compete and Confidentiality
1.The Host agrees not to use any attendee data or information acquired through Dream Date for any purpose outside the scope of this Agreement.
2.The Host shall not promote or organize similar events that compete with Dream Date for a period of [5 years] after termination of this Agreement.
6. Termination
This Agreement may be terminated by either party with [3 ] days’ written notice. Dream Date reserves the right to terminate the Agreement immediately for breach of its terms or failure to fulfill obligations.
7. Independent Contractor
The Host acknowledges they are an independent contractor and not an employee of Dream Date. The Host is solely responsible for their taxes and any expenses incurred in hosting the event unless expressly agreed otherwise.
8. Indemnification
The Host agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Dream Date from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from the Host’s actions, negligence, or breach of this Agreement.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to arbitration under the laws of the state of [state].
10. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings.
11. Amendments
This Agreement may only be amended in writing signed by both parties.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of [state].
